Terms & refunds

1. The agreement

These terms govern the sale and use of Universal Controller MIDI ("the software") supplied by Aidxn Design, an Australian sole trader in Queensland ("we", "us"). Purchasing a license or downloading the free build constitutes acceptance.

2. License grant

A Pro license is a perpetual, non-transferable right to install and run the software on devices you personally own or control. Subscriptions provide the same rights for the active billing period and revert to Free features when cancelled.

You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or reverse engineer the software except as permitted by Australian law.

3. Refund policy

We offer a fourteen (14) day refund from the date of purchase, no questions asked. Email support@aidxn.com with your order reference and we will process the refund within two business days.

This policy is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer guarantee, right, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.

4. Updates and support

Pro licenses include all minor and patch updates for the lifetime of the current major version. Future major versions may be offered as a paid upgrade. Email support is provided on a best-effort basis with a target response time of two business days.

5. Marketplace content

Presets you publish to the marketplace remain your intellectual property. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, distribute, and display them within the product. We may remove any content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the software is limited to the amount you paid for it in the twelve months preceding the claim. We do not exclude liability that cannot be excluded under Australian law.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. Disputes will be handled in the courts of Queensland unless we agree in writing to another venue.
